Hi Nola,
Its been nearly 3 weeks and Oscar is a very
happy boy “ruling the house”. Because the kitten is so active we give
our 2 Burmese a break at night and Oscar is still sleeping with us!
We are putting them all together at night from the weekend. I’ll
keep you informed. Oscar is an absolute delight and so clever ! He
adores our 10 year old who watches our 5 year old go nuts with Oscar from the
sidelines (the 5 year old was not happy at first, but you were right has
accepted him and plays all day!)
All 3 having a sleep
and Mark with the boys and a beer!

Hi Nola,
As Annie left you said to her to be a good
kitten... well she has been more than a good kitten.. she is the most
well-socialized cat I have ever met. She has beautiful manners, she is so
smart, exuberant, involved, trusting and loving. She is utterly
enchanting and we are going to be life-long loving friends.
You have done a remarkable job in giving her
the foundations for a happy life and I feel honoured to have met you and to
have this little kitten in my care. The work you have done with her shows in a
profound way.... what I see with Annie is not just the expected cuteness of a
kitten... there is so much more with her..... another dimension entirely.
You said something when we picked her up about thinking like a cat and
you truly do that. I have been thinking about that a lot because to see that
in action was an amazing experience. Annie has astounding confidence in people
and that is because you taught her that people are kind. Not every kitten
begins life with this gift.
These cats are a tribute to your wisdom, your
passion and your love. I can't tell you how happy this little kitten has made
me. She is everything and more than I expected. I did not know that cats could
be like this. She is such a gentle soul and that is because you gave her a
life where it was safe for her to be so. I have never met anyone like you and
I will remember Sunday for the rest of my life. Your cats and cattery are such
a testament to you on all sorts of levels. It is a rare experience to see
someone get an endeavour so right ... sheer detailed excellence and integrity.
You steadfastly advocate for your cats. I have been talking about you at
work all day.... it was like stepping into a novel... like a character out of
a book..... Dickens and so many other authors would have just loved you .....
really beautiful.
Words do not do justice for my admiration for
what you do and what you stand for. We will send you more photos but here are
some to let you see that she is settling in. She is beautiful in every way....
we can't take our eyes off her. The faces of the Ocicat are mesmerizing when
seeing them in person. Love to all the cats and to sweet-natured Georgia.

Hi Nola,
Just a quick note to say that Katandra is really
doing well. She is a very affectionate cat (when SHE wants to be).
She has been cuddling around my neck while I have been on the computer.
Cannot believe she is 12 months old today. Time goes so fast. She
has been helping me wrap my Christmas presents!! Likes the bows.
I will send a photo of her when I get round to it. Have a lovely
Christmas and New Year. Sounds like you are going to be busy again today
if your new litter arrive on time.
Thanks again, Pauline,
S.A.
