Derivation of Kitten Names :

Ozspots Murray : The Murray Ozspots Murray : The Murray is Australia's second-longest river in its own right (the longest being its tributary the Darling).  At 2,575 kms (1,600 mls) in length, the Murray rises in the Australian Alps, draining the western side of Australia's highest mountains and, for most of its length, meanders across Australia's inland plains, forming the border between New South Wales and Victoria as it flows to the northwest, before turning south for its final 500 kilometres or so into South Australia.

Ozspots Lachlan :
The Lachlan River is a significant river in central New South Wales, Australia.  It rises in the central highlands of New South Wales, part of the Great Dividing Range.

Ozspots Diamantina :
The Diamantina River is in Queensland, Australia, rising north-west of Longreach.  It flows in a south-westerly direction through central Queensland to form the Warburton River, which, in extremely wet years, flows as far as Lake Eyre.  Most of the basin of the Diamantina is very flat: even the highest points in the northeast do not reach 500 metres (1600 feet) above sea level and Lake Eyre itself is sixteen metres below sea level.

Ozspots Katherine :
Katherine River is located in the Northern Territory, Australia.  Its headwaters are in Nitmiluk National park, it flows through the town of Katherine, and is a major tributary of the Daly River. The first white explorer to see the river was John McDouall Stuart in 1862.

Ozspots Barcoo :
The Barcoo River in western Queensland, Australia rises on the northern slopes of the Warrego Range and unites with the Thomson River to form Cooper Creek. The first European to see the river was Thomas Mitchell in 1846, who named it Victoria Stream. It was renamed by after a name supplied by local Aborigines.

Ozspots Darling :
The Darling River is the longest river in Australia, flowing 2,739km from northern New South Wales to its confluence with the Murray River at Wentworth, New South Wales.  The Murray-Darling river system, one of the largest in the world, drains all of New South Wales west of the Great Dividing Range, much of northern Victoria and southern Queensland and parts of South Australia.
