Nelson - January, 2007

Nelson
is on the right - Oliver on the left
Dear
Nola, Well
the boys have been with us now for 10 weeks. They have settled in
and seem to be enjoying their new surroundings.
They are absolutely beautiful.
Nelson takes after his mother Delilah. Oliver is starting to look very
much like his dad
Coco
.
The boys are never far away from
each other, crying out to the other when not in direct line of sight.
They are extremely friendly and love being with us all the time.
They are really part of our family now.
Minnie, our 71/2 year old Siamese has finally
accepted them. Nelson being her favourite.
This does not surprise me as he always seemed to be very close to
his mother Delilah.
I
have included the attached photo so that you can see how beautiful they are.
Kindest Regards, John and Margaret

Zuri - May, 2007
Hi
Nola, Well
Jamu and Zuri are really settling in now .... they rule the roost!
Little Jamu in particular is getting himself into all sorts of mischief -
climbing up my curtains, chasing my hair when I am sleeping, exploring throughout
the house, getting into my daughter's crib and going to sleep (when
she's not there of course) ..... he's having a blast!
Zuri
is more reserved, he wants his cuddles morning and evening, then goes off to
sleep in his bed .... he just wants to know we're near by. He isn't
as brave as his little brother but does watch out for him with a "oh no,
what trouble is he going to get into now" look. They are both so
lovely and affectionate.
Don
came home on Saturday and they ran straight up to him .... they weren't nervous
at all and he loved that. They are now firm friends. The
other cats are still keeping their distance which is fine with Zuri but Jamu
wants to play with them. He also loves our daughter Keira, and plays
with her - at first I thought he was running away from her but I think he likes
playing as he always comes back for more when she gets bored. She is
still very gentle with him, and we are always watching her to make sure there is
not pulling of tails or being heavy-handed. Right now she is still in
that stage of complete awe as she is able to stroke him and he stays there and
purrs .. she giggles though when he meows as it is so funny. They are
eating, drinking and pooping just fine. All seems to be well.
Hope all is well with you and your other brood..... Further
updates to follow .. Nicola
