Meeko - March , 2007

Hi
Nola,
Our gorgeous boy has already
settled happily in to his new home. He is more beautiful than we could
ever have imagined in both looks and temperament. Both the girls the 4
year old and the 4 month old adore him. We have decided to name him
Meeko (which means little one with a big heart)
Within 5 minutes of arrival he
was playing with his new toys and has spent this afternoon playing with
our littlest Burmese.
Thank you so much for
supplying us our new family member!
I've
attached a photo of him relaxing in his new home.
Lucy, Dave, Sarah and Jessica
Meeko
has well and truly settled in to our family. He is very popular in
particular with our Lilac Burmese Jasmine and Sarah our 4 year old. He
has taken a keen interest in everything we do (and everything we eat!)
and is now well and truly head of the household.
We've
attached a picture of him with Jasmine and Sarah and one of the two cats
in their favourite hiding spot.
Lucinda,
David, Sarah and Jessica

Hi
Nola,
A quick update on Meeko. He
has grown so much and has become the much loved companion of our other 2
cats. I've attached a few photos of Meeko and his friends. Thanks once
again for our lovely boy! Lucinda, David, Sarah and Jessica

Ice Dancer - 'Ice' - October, 2006
Hi
Nola, Just a
note and picture about Ice. Ice is just delightful. Sam and
Ice have a play session on the bed with us each morning before breakfast. Ice
shares her sleeping time, cuddled up with either Sam or Us. I
am not sure if Ice is getting dog like or Sam is getting Cat like, or if we
are all just great friends and playmates. I think the latter best describes
the morning scene. Cheers Christine

Tasman - April, 2007

November, 2007
Hi Nola,
Sorry it has been so long since we updated you on Tasman's progress.
He's now a fully accepted part of the family, Nikita wouldn't eat her
breakfast this morning until he came in from walkabout. They spend a lot
of time cuddled up together, playing inside and compete for the same prime sun
spots in the garden.
Tasman loves trees, and will run straight up anything when he gets excited.
We have a pole over two metres tall in the back yard, and he races straight up
it and sits on top surveying his kingdom. He's a bundle of energy, and
now we are coming into summer he is spending a lot of time in our bush, then
he comes in and just sprawls on the floor. He has a wonderful
personality and all our visitors love him. He does give our cleaner a
bit of a hard time, as he has decided that the vacuum cleaner is to be killed
and takes every opportunity to stalk it and attack it. He really
is just an amazing cat and we are so glad we have him. Thank you, Robert
and Carol

August, 2008
Hi, Nola,
Just thought you might like to have an update on how Tasman is doing - as
you'll see from the photos he is a very handsome young boy and enjoys the
company of his Siamese older sister, Nikita. This week is probably the worst
weather so far this winter with gales, thunder, lightening, driving rain, hail
and we have Tasman and Nikita who definitely don't want to go outside to
"do their business" and who have been circling the cat door
wondering how long they can hold on for! We have given in to them by providing
indoor facilities - how bad is that! Tasman is a delight - we are continually amazed
by how fast he is, he has very powerful back legs and sometimes when he's a
bit too excited, they even out-do his front legs causing him to do a
head-over-heels roll. We also continue to get comments from visitors on
his striking markings.
He is a delight to have in our family. Best regards, Carol
& Robert

Australis - 'Afro' - October, 2007
Well its been a very busy school holidays!!!
Afro and PJ are now officially rulers of the house....(except for me).
They are confident and are using Ziggy our Border Collie as a bed. They are
all good friends. The
boys love the kids...they love the games and are not at all scared of the
noise....even when they have friends over.
I am so in love with these boys....they purr
and follow me everywhere....even to the toilet. PJ
has developed into a cat burglar. While I am sleeping he removes my earings
and takes off with them....leaving them somewhere for me to tread on them.
These are my good ones with a spring in the back....so very talented.
Anyway....all is good and we look forward to seeing you soon. Have a great
Holiday!!!! Annie

Ozspots Australis - 'Afro' - June, 2008
Hi Nola.......
Well Afro just turned 1 and he and his brother PJ are big and healthy.
In fact they are very big (in proportion - don't panic). They are still
maniacs and run around and wrestle all the time. Ziggy is their big
brother who they adore. As you will see in the photos - they sleep
together on the lounge using each other as a pillow.
I just finished my thesis and finally finished my masters....yeeeehaaaa.
No real thanks to the cats tho. They took an instant liking for standing
on the keyboard and in front of the screen at very inopportune times. I
am sure you would be well aware of this habit.
Well winter is definitely upon us - not that the cats would know. I hope
all is good in your world at the moment. Time is flying as usual.
Speak soon, Annie
