Hi
Grandma Nola,
Just
thought I would let you know about my recent holiday. Mum and I visited
my Auntie Carey and Uncle Andy in "Woodenbong NSW". The car
journey took 3.5hrs of which I slept most of the way wrapped around Mum's neck
like a fur collar, rather comfy for me and of course I had to keep Mum warm!
I had a
lovely time stalking the neighbours chooks (forgetting of course I had my bell
on my collar, bright purple harness and Mum in tow), not sure what happened
but the chooks heard me and I didn't get to get feathers in my mouth.
I had
dessert last night of ice-cream and cream, and the night before baked
cheesecake. Mum says I will have to watch my weight being an indoor cat
and all.
I had to
sleep with my Auntie and Uncle in the main house (with air con), as where Mum
was sleeping there was no air con and I kept climbing the fly screens and got
myself in a bit of trouble so I couldn't sleep there with Mum. They were
very obliging though, sharing their bed with me and getting up at the usual
6am to feed me breakfast.
They
also had lots of ornaments that they let me half wreck inside, and a hinged
wooden snake that I played with even though it scared me a bit. Under
their bed was a nice saggy box with a blanket on it, made very restful
sleeping for the day hours.....Chook watching from the kitchen bench window
was rather exciting, carrying off Auntie Carey's jewellery she makes was also
fun and Uncle Andy watches nature shows which were very exciting up close,
which I watched with great concentration and intent.
Last
hours there I had a meeting with a blue tongued lizard, another exciting
experience, it's nice to be home back on the coast though overlooking the lake
and swans.
All my
love Rocco.....
PS - the new home you picked for me is working out well, everyone dotes on me so
what more can a pussy cat ask for. xxxx

Almost
to graduation in Toilet Training!!

Hi Nola, He's wonderful and fat - if
u don't give him his biscuits to nibble on between meals he drags the big
plastic cake container with his biscuits in, by his teeth along the floor to
where u can see him. He loves the car and goes in it all the time and
visits my mum and dads and they have a Siamese. Nice to hear from u again

Well you do advertise good
temperament, so now you see it!

I thought he didn't want to eat
them as he was raised inside by your cats that were probably also raised inside,
so I
thought the killer instinct had gone. He does like to chase them and their
tails like a toy if they move fast, and he does pw
them a tiny bit rough sometimes, but I
say "gentle"
and he knows what this means. He does play a little with them but never
tries to catch them or eat them, he is the same with our cockatiel, he runs for
it when it is flying but when it lands on the floor he just sniffs it. The
bird and the 2 rats have no fear either and don't care about him at all.

Dear
Nola, Here is a picture of my as yet un-named little boy,
Cheers, Bev
