KITTY KATE

HOME NAME : Kate
BREED & SEX : Tawny Oriental desexed female (Burmese and Siamese parentage)
DATE OF BIRTH : September, 1996
AGE AT NOVEMBER 15, 2008 : 12 years
DETAILS : .
Kate is my special friend but unfortunately in spite of much patience and time, she refuses to tolerate any other cats.
Even when she is in her own part of the house, if she knows there are other cats in other rooms, she misbehaves and is miserable.
She is currently living in the cattery where she has her own room with heated bed, sun screens and sun deck
She has free run of all areas in the cattery that are cat-free.
Whilst in the cattery she does not misbehave.
So I can only I attribute her bad behaviour in the house to her possessive attitude of me and jealousy of other cats being near me.
HEALTH : She is in very good condition and appears to have no health issues.  She is not quite as agile as she used to be, but still jumps up to her bed with ease.
DESCRIPTION :
She has the typical Oriental longer face with gold/green eyes.
Her coat is sleek and smooth, black ticking with a beige undercoat
Her vaccinations and worm and flea treatment are all up to date.
PERSONALITY
Her name is Kate or Katee - her name was originally KT - for Kat from Townsville
She is very friendly, and would be well suited to a household with either no children, or older children.
She is highly intelligent and comes when called.  She is a lover ....
She is quite used to living with a friendly dog but absolutely no other cats please
Her fur is soft and silky
She talks a little bit, and likes to have an occasional 'conversation', but is not noisy at all.
I reluctantly seek a very loving home for Kate - I would rather she spend the next years of her life in a happy home than in the cattery
I would prefer a new home within driving distance of Melbourne - so no interstate travel for Kate
As with all my kittens and adult cats, they need to be returned to me if circumstances change for the new family.
My prime concern is for Kate's happiness.
PRICE : By negotiation
