The Oz Catz Cattery
The Oz Catz cattery was originally a small
house situated on my property just metres from my back door.
This has been converted into a cattery
comprised of three sections on three different levels. The cattery has been designed to allow our cats plenty of
room to run and jump and climb. There are sundecks, big windows, fabulous views of Phillip Island and French Island
and beyond and they are close enough to our home to see what's going on and who's coming and going at all
times.
Ocicats are very social so this is important
to ensure the cats who spend any time in the cattery are happy and contented.
They are frequently entertained by the cows
grazing on lush pastures in the foreground, the mobs of visiting kangaroos and wallabies from the nearby bush, the
thousands of native birds passing by. We had a small Monitor Lizard pass by the other day ! .....

And a young Koala as well as a pair of
wedge-tailed eagles often visit .....
All my kittens and most of my queens live in
the house with me. The cattery is used when the girls need mating, and for a change of scenery for them (and me)
when it is needed. Most of the stud boys live in the cattery.
The cats enjoy playing in the grassy areas and
lounging on the sundecks of the cattery, which provides lots of room for playing, jumping and just lazing around.
There are sundecks, fly-wire screens, large windows, lots of light, vinyl floors, comfy beds, scratch posts,
activity centres and garden areas for play.
I spend most of my time with
my cats and kittens - and so does Georgia!

The cats enjoy
wonderful views from the cattery - this is the morning view -
